Blast Box has six main points of interaction:
- The RCA inputs
- The LED display
- The red broadcast button
- The cream toggle button
- The volume wheel
- The quarter inch jack, which is a monitor for your audio source
The red broadcast button
Press and hold the red button to turn Blast Box on and off.
If you’ve already Set Up, press the red button to start and stop a broadcast.
RCA inputs
Blast Box has a standard RCA Input for feeding audio into Blast Box. Plug the AUX side of your RCA cable (included in the delivery) to any audio source as an Input.
LED display
When you are live, the LED screen will show how long you’ve been broadcasting, how many people tune in, and your audio levels. When listeners send you vibes or you get a new listener, the screen will glow red.
The cream toggle button
Press the cream button to toggle between battery, Wi-Fi, your profile name, and the time code screen.
The volume wheel
The wheel controls the volume for the monitoring headphone jack in the front of Blast Box.
Note: this volume wheel does not impact the volume of your actual broadcast, only the monitor.
¼ inch headphone monitoring output
You can passively monitor the audio being sent to Blast Box from this output through headphones.
Note: to hear your actual broadcast volume and quality you will need to listen in the Blast Radio mobile app.
