You can connect Blast Box to any audio source either directly or via an audio interface. The RCA ports on Blast Box are your INPUT. Plug the left and right cables in the RCA ports.
How do I connect the Blast Box to my laptop/desktop?
Use the RCA cable that came with the Blast Box. The left and right channels go into the RCA ports of Blast Box. Plug the AUX side to the audio port of your laptop/desktop.
Note – connecting your Blast Box directly to your laptop/desktop will also broadcast built-in sounds (notifications/updates etc.) of your device. If you’d like to isolate a certain audio source in your laptop/computer, use an audio interface. I have an audio interface. How do I connect the Blast Box to it?
Most audio interfaces have a monitoring headphone jack. Plug the ¼ inch converter that came with the Blast Box into your audio interface’s monitoring headphone jack. Use our cable to connect your Blast Box to your audio interface. Use the Blast Box monitoring headphone jack to listen to your feed.
I have a turntable. How do I connect the Blast Box to it?
Most turntables have a monitoring headphone jack. Plug the ¼ inch converter that came with the Blast Box into your turntable’s monitoring headphone jack. Use our cable to connect your Blast Box to your audio interface. Use the Blast Box monitoring headphone jack to listen to your feed. If you have a double RCA cable at home you can use the RCA output of your turntable to connect to the Blast Box.
