If you had no problems going live but your audio sounds distorted, check to see if you are charging your device on a grounded outlet.
A grounded plug is a wall outlet that has a three-pronged device, whereas non-grounded plugs have two prongs. A grounded plug wiring prevents power surges that could overload your device or result in electrical shock.
Charging your device via a laptop or a power bank etc. during a live broadcast might cause electrical surges resulting in a hiss/distortion in your audio. If the surge is serious enough it can affect the overall performance of the device, causing abnormal behavior. Make sure to charge your device using a grounded outlet while broadcasting.
Note: It's completely fine to charge your device on a non-grounded outlet while if you are not live or doing a Sound Check.
