Fan Mail is our take on both tipping and sending messages.

  • Include a personal message with tips
  • Broadcasters respond
  • Listeners share the Fan Mail keepsake

It enables a more direct relationship between broadcasters and listeners through a simple 1:1 message. The lack of chat functionality on the app shifts the focus fully to broadcasts, removes the pressure of ongoing conversation, and prevents negativity or trolling. That said, both broadcasters and listeners can use Fan Mail to show appreciation for the great broadcasts happening on the platform.

 

 

How it works

  1. Start listening to a broadcast.
  2. Tap the ‘Send Fan Mail’ button.
  3. Choose how much you want to tip.
  4. Add your Fan Mail message.
  5. Send! 

Broadcaster: Respond to your Fan Mail

  1. Tap on your profile image at the top right of the home screen.
  2. Tap ‘Fan Mail’ to see your inbox.
  3. See the sections for Unread, Awaiting reply, and History.
  4. Tap any message to draft your response, choose a custom header image, and reply!

 

Listener: Share your Fan Mail asset!

  1. Tap on your profile image in the top right of the home screen.
  2. Tap ‘Fan Mail’ to see your inbox.
  3. Tap the ‘Share’ icon.
  4. Text a friend, email your mom, post to Instagram, send a Tweet, or all of the above!

 

Make sure your notifications are enabled so you never miss Fan Mail!
